• Analyze job descriptions and generate match scores
• Improve scoring accuracy and product performance
• Provide account functionality and dashboard features

3. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Your data is stored securely using the following third-party providers:

• Supabase for database hosting and authentication
• Vercel for website and API hosting
• Resend for email notifications

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for data in transit
• Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest
• Limited access controls
• Regular security reviews

Your resume and scoring history are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual jobs or request complete account deletion at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

If you do not log in for 12 months, we may delete your account and associated data after giving 30 days' notice.

No security system is 100% secure. We will notify you of any material data breaches as required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data with trusted service providers strictly for:

Chancer integrates with services such as LinkedIn and Handshake to detect job postings and inject the Chancer pill, and may support Google for optional account authentication. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the updated policy. We will notify you of material changes by email when required.
